Blue Laws are enacted in Connecticut.

[1650-Holloron] The law prohibit certain activities from taking place on the Sabbath. Their name is derived from the fact that the New Haven Colony prints its general code on blue paper. [Another source dates the practice to the printing of laws on blue paper in Massachusetts in 1781.]
